Ukraine’s wealthiest individual decides to sell two Falcon 7x jets and a private Airbus

Rinat Ahmetov, Ukraine’s richest individual, has announced the sale of all his private aircraft, including two Falcon 7x jets and a private Airbus A319−133X (CJ). The planes were purchased more than a decade ago, with the Falcon 7x valued at around $100 million each and the Airbus estimated at approximately $80 million. Ahmetov’s press service has confirmed that all three aircraft are up for sale, with brochures featuring photos of the interiors made available to journalists.

Additionally, this year saw the completion of the 145-meter yacht Luminance (“Brightness”), valued at over $500 million, built at the Lürssen shipyard in Germany. Ahmetov commissioned the yacht in 2018. The press service confirmed that the yacht will be sold, but no acceptable offers have been received yet.

The yacht was last reported near the coast of Croatia. Journalists have speculated that the Luminance might be used by Ahmetov’s family, as the businessman himself has not left Ukraine since the onset of the invasion.

In 2007, Ahmetov purchased the most expensive apartment in London for £137 million. In 2020, his SCM Group acquired a villa on the French Riviera for €200 million. In the autumn of 2023, a leak of documents from Cypriot offshore accounts revealed that Ahmetov was planning to buy a penthouse in London for $122 million before the full-scale war.
