A car explodes in Kyiv: police are investigating the circumstances of the incident

On Wednesday, 23 April, a car exploded in the Podil district of Kyiv. Fortunately, there were no injuries. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv police.

“Kyiv police are establishing the circumstances of the car explosion in Podil district. No one was injured in the incident,” the official statement said.

An investigative team, explosives experts and dog handlers are working at the scene. Police are interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to establish the causes and possible perpetrators of the incident. The legal classification of the incident is currently being determined.

This is the second high-profile case in the capital in the last two days. The day before, on 22 April, a man with a gunshot wound was found in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv. The police are investigating the case as an attempted murder.
