At the end of 2024, investment giant BlackRock Inc. set a new record for the amount of funds raised, which amounted to $641 billion. According to data published in Forbes with reference to Bloomberg, this was a historic achievement for the company.

As of 31 December 2024, BlackRock’s total assets under management reached $11.6 trillion. Experts predict further growth in this figure. Particularly impressive is the fact that the amount of funds raised during the year exceeded the total assets of some investment funds that had been formed over decades.

Total inflows into the company’s various financial instruments included $390 billion in ETFs, $226 billion in equity funds, and $164 billion in bond funds. In the fourth quarter, net inflows to long-term funds totalled $201 billion, with total inflows for the quarter of $281 billion, which was above analysts’ forecasts.

Particular attention is drawn to the success of the bitcoin ETF launched by the company in 2024, whose assets have already reached $50 billion. BlackRock shares, in turn, showed an increase of 3.3%, reaching $995 in morning trading in New York.

This data demonstrates the high level of investor confidence in BlackRock, as well as the company’s ability to operate effectively even in the face of market volatility and fierce competition.
