As part of the government’s eRobota grant programme, seven more agricultural enterprises have received funding of UAH 22.2 million for the development of horticulture, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouse farming. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Results of support in 2024
Since the beginning of the year, UAH 441.7 million has been paid to 105 agricultural producers under the programme:
- UAH 298.7 million was allocated to support 73 companies engaged in horticulture, berry growing and viticulture;
- UAH 143 million was allocated to 32 greenhouse farms.
General statistics since the beginning of the programme
Since the launch of the programme in July 2022, 247 agricultural producers have received grant assistance totalling over UAH 1.14 billion.
- UAH 835.8 million was allocated to 189 farms for the development of horticulture, of which 171 received the funds in full.
- UAH 310.8 million was allocated to support 63 greenhouse farms, which also received full funding.
Terms of the programme
Grants cover up to 70% of the project cost, but no more than UAH 10 million. One of the prerequisites is the employment of the required number of employees:
- For horticulture: 5 to 10 permanent workers and 125 to 425 seasonal workers, depending on the type of planting.
- For greenhouse farming: at least 4 permanent and 10 seasonal workers per hectare.
