Apple once again tops the ranking of the world’s most valuable brands according to Brand Finance Global 500

Apple has become the world’s most valuable brand for the second year in a row, according to the annual Brand Finance Global 500 ranking. The brand value increased by 11% and reached a record high of $574.5 billion.

Top 5 most expensive brands in the world

Microsoft took second place, showing a significant increase of 35% to $461.1bn.
Google took third place with a 24% increase in brand value to $413bn.
Amazon took the fourth position with a 15% increase in value to $356.4bn.
Walmart moved up to fifth place, with its brand value jumping 42% to $137.2bn, improving on its previous result.

Record achievements and other participants of the rating

They also made it to the top ten:

  • Samsung ($110.6 billion),
  • TikTok ($105.8 billion),
  • Facebook ($91.5 billion),
  • Nvidia ($87.9 billion),
  • State Grid Corporation of China ($85.6 billion).

Nvidia experienced the largest growth among tech brands, with its value almost doubling over the year.

The most expensive European brand was Deutsche Telekom with a value of $85.3bn, which put it in 11th place in the ranking.

Among Japanese brands, Toyota is the leader, ranked 18th with a value of $64.7 billion (+23%).

Dynamics of the global brand market

The e& brand (formerly Etisalat) demonstrated record growth, growing 8-fold to $15.3 billion over the year.

Among the US brands that dominate the ranking, 193 companies are represented, accounting for more than half of the total value of the ranking. China has 69 brands and Germany has 27 brands.

The total value of the world’s 500 most expensive brands increased by 10% to $9.5 trillion.
