Recently, MNBC media has published the results of a sociological survey conducted at cryptocurrency events in Ukraine. The survey covered more than 800 active users of digital assets, and the results revealed interesting trends in the Ukrainian crypto space.
Advantages of the platforms
The main purpose of the survey was to analyse the use of cryptocurrencies and platforms among participants of events in Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa. It turned out that the majority of respondents choose platforms such as MetaMask and Binance for investment. According to the study, 80.9% of respondents use Binance, while 69.5% choose MetaMask to store cryptocurrencies.
Demographics of respondents
The majority of respondents were men (80.2%), while women accounted for 19.8%. The majority of respondents (51.9%) belonged to the 18-25 age group, which indicates a high interest of young people in cryptocurrencies. The majority of respondents (54.7%) consider their knowledge to be advanced, which highlights the growing financial literacy in Ukraine.
Investment priorities
For 82.4% of respondents, the main purpose of using cryptocurrencies is investment and storage of value. At the same time, 61.8% use crypto exchanges for trading, and 38.2% for online shopping. Among the cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is the most popular (67.9%), followed by Bitcoin (30.5%) and USDT/USDC stablecoins (53.4%).
News and influencers
To receive news about cryptocurrencies, 77.1% of respondents chose Incrypted, recognising it as the most readable. Anton Dziuba from DOUBLETOP is considered the most influential crypto influencer in the world, as he was mentioned by 32% of respondents.
This data highlights not only the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, but also the active participation of young people in financial innovation. Platforms such as Binance and MetaMask are becoming not only investment tools, but also important elements of the financial culture of modern Ukrainians.
