More than 1,000 small businesses in Ukraine have benefited from financial assistance from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), receiving $74 million to support operations and expand their businesses. This was announced by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink via social media.

According to her, access to finance helps Ukrainian businesses not only survive but also grow, despite Russia’s attempts to undermine Ukraine’s economy. “These funds have become an important support for businesses that continue to operate and develop despite the difficult conditions of war,” the ambassador said.

USAID’s financial assistance helps to strengthen economic stability and supports entrepreneurs in times of economic instability, including in the context of Russia’s armed aggression.
