PrivatBank set a new financial record in 2024. The bank’s pre-tax profit reached UAH 81 billion, and net profit amounted to UAH 40.1 billion, up 6% compared to 2023. This was reported by the press service of the financial institution on Tuesday, 11 February.
In addition, PrivatBank will pay a record income tax to the state budget in the amount of UAH 40.9 billion. This is the highest figure in the bank’s history.
The financial statements also show positive dynamics of other key indicators. The bank’s net loan portfolio grew by UAH 20.7 billion, exceeding UAH 112 billion, and customer deposits increased by more than 10%. The bank’s operating expenses increased by 8%, which remains below the annual inflation rate.
“The basis of the bank’s financial result is net interest and commission income, the stability of which confirms the effectiveness of the bank’s business model,” PrivatBank said.
The record performance confirms PrivatBank’s leading role in the financial system of Ukraine and its significant contribution to the state budget.
