Since the beginning of 2024, 97 agricultural producers have received UAH 419.4 million in grant aid for the development of horticulture and greenhouse farming under the government’s eRobota programme to support small and medium-sized businesses. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In 2024, another 7 agricultural enterprises received UAH 18.7 million for the development of horticulture, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouses. In particular, UAH 278.4 million was paid to 67 farms for the development of orchards, and UAH 141 million was paid to 31 enterprises for the construction of greenhouses.
The eRobota programme, which has been in place since 1 July 2022, has supported 240 agricultural enterprises with over UAH 1.12 billion since its launch. Thus, UAH 815.6 million was provided for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture for 183 farms, and UAH 308.8 million for greenhouse farming for 62 enterprises.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy noted that the government programme was expanded in August 2024, in particular to support viticulture and horticulture.
This initiative is being funded in 2024-2025 with the support of the World Bank under the “Emergency Project for Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Agriculture in Ukraine (ARISE)”.
