Ukraine has maintained natural gas imports at 16.3 million cubic metres per day, continuing to supply from the European Union. This is reported by Reuters.

In particular, according to the latest data, Ukraine receives:

  • 7.1 million cubic metres of gas from Hungary,
  • 7.3 million cubic metres from Slovakia,
  • 1.8 million cubic metres from Poland.

Thanks to cooperation with European partners, Ukraine continues to meet its own energy needs, compensating for the decline in domestic production and minimising the risks of an energy crisis.

According to experts, gas imports from the EU remain a key element of Ukraine’s energy security strategy, especially in the context of the war and the refusal to use Russian gas.
