Ukraine continues to actively export agricultural products, and as of today, 60% of the total volume has already been shipped. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky during a briefing on 6 February, UNN reports.
According to Vysotsky, monthly exports amount to 4.5-5.5 million tonnes, which allows us to effectively prepare for the new harvest.
“We have already passed a little over the export equator, with five months left until the new harvest. Most of the products have already been exported – about 60%. The current rate of exports is quite sufficient to ensure that the new harvest will be harvested without surplus,” the official said.
In total, 40-45 million tonnes of grains and 17 million tonnes of oilseeds and their products are to be exported.
Despite challenging logistical conditions, Ukraine continues to supply agricultural products to international markets, which is a key factor in the stability of the global food market.
