The legendary actor Al Pacino has stunned his fans by admitting that he recently experienced clinical death. In an open interview, he shared the details of this extraordinary experience, revealing how he managed to come back to life, according to 360ua.

The famous American actor, as it became known from the publication, experienced clinical death four years ago when he became seriously ill with COVID-19. Doctors fought hard to save his life. In an interview with the New York Times, Pacino, now 84 years old, said that his heart stopped during the illness, and he felt that his life was on the brink.

“I was sitting at home and suddenly realised I was gone… I had no pulse. An ambulance arrived a few minutes later. In my living room, there were about six paramedics and two doctors who looked like they had come from outer space,” recalls the Scarface star. Al Pacino collapsed after telling the medical team that he was feeling “unusually ill”, suffering from a high temperature and dehydration.

Interestingly, according to the actor, his attitude towards death in the last moments was completely different from what he expected. “I didn’t see a white light or anything like that. There was just nothing there. Actors often say: ‘I died once,’ but what does that really mean if there’s nothing else?” he admits, stressing that his views on life and death have changed with age.

Pacino noted that he now intends to live as long as possible, primarily for the sake of his young son Roman, born in June 2023 to his beloved Nur Alfallah. In his remarks, he emphasised the importance of fatherhood and commitment to family, which was his main motivation for continuing to fight for life.

Al Pacino, who has achieved significant success in his career, is now trying to find new meanings in life, turning his experiences into opportunities for self-development and closeness with his family.
