“Czech Republic and Argentina Discuss Support for Ukraine and Israel”

During their meeting in Prague, Czech President Petr Pavel and his Argentine counterpart Javier Milei reached consensus on foreign policy issues and emphasized the need to deepen economic cooperation. They discussed supporting Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression and backing Israel in its defense against terrorism. The heads of state affirmed the importance of defending democracy and the rules-based international order, including territorial integrity and sovereignty.

According to Jewish News, during Milei’s meeting with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, they also discussed supporting Ukraine and cooperation on economic matters. Milei, who actively supports Israel and takes pride in his Jewish heritage, visited the Czech Republic approximately six months after being elected president, following visits to Spain and Germany.
