Today, a powerful demonstration took place near the residence of the Prime Minister of Israel, in which thousands of people participated. Among them are relatives of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas from the forum “Tikva” (“Hope”) and relatives of fallen servicemen from the forum “Gvura” (“Heroism”).
The event was organized on the eve of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s departure to Washington. The participants of the action, gathered with posters and banners, demanded decisive actions from the head of government to release the hostages and ensure the security of the country.
Slogan “Only victory!” sounded like the main message of the demonstration, emphasizing the citizens’ desire for decisive measures and victory in the fight against the terrorist threat. Many of those present emotionally expressed their pain and anger, appealing to the Prime Minister not to forget the fate of their loved ones.
One of the participants in the demonstration, Rachel, whose son was kidnapped two years ago, did not hide her tears: “We live with this pain every day. We believe in our army and government, but we want to see real steps and results. We can’t just leave our children like that!”
Demonstrators demanded that Netanyahu increase pressure on Hamas and make all possible efforts to release the hostages. They also expressed hope that the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to Washington will help draw international attention to the issue and strengthen support for Israel on the global stage.
The action lasted several hours, and it was joined by many well-known public figures and politicians who support the demands of the demonstrators.
This is reported by Time Ukraine Israel, referring to the source of Channel 9 Israel. The demonstration was an important reminder to the government that the safety and lives of the hostages remain at the forefront of Israeli society.
