In recent days, rumours and conspiracy theories have been spreading among residents of Los Angeles and the Pacific Palisades area in particular, as rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mansion remained untouched during the wildfires that swept the region. The fires forced many celebrities to flee their homes, some of which were completely destroyed by the fire, as reported by Hindustantimes.
Initial reports, which were later denied, claimed that the Combs mansion had also been destroyed. However, as it turned out, the building remained intact, which fuelled rumours about the possible causes of the fire. Katherine Austin Fitts, a former official in the George W. Bush administration, proposed a theory that the fire could have been set to “hide” alleged sexual offences involving Diddy.
This version was met with considerable opposition from experts and other celebrities affected by the fires. The rapidly spreading fire destroyed large areas and several luxury mansions, including the homes of Miles Teller, Anna Faris and Anthony Hopkins.
While experts and rescue services continue to fight the fire and its aftermath, the public and media are actively discussing the incredible survival of Combs’ home, which only adds fuel to the fire of conspiracy theories among fans and critics of the celebrity.
