Recently, it became known about Donald Trump’s statement, in which he claims a significant contribution of his administration to the agreement on the release of hostages between Israel and Hamas. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Today in Israel”, where Trump expressed satisfaction with the results of the negotiations, which, in his opinion, were made possible by his team’s “historic victory” in the elections.

Trump emphasised that this “epic ceasefire” was achieved “only because of our historic victory in November”, demonstrating to the world his administration’s commitment to peaceful conflict resolution. He expressed his joy that the American and Israeli hostages would soon return home to reunite with their families and loved ones.

This statement is perceived as an attempt by Trump to highlight his achievements in the international arena, especially in the context of his efforts to bring peace to the Middle East. However, some critics may believe that Trump is trying to take credit for actions that may have been a collaborative effort between many parties.
