On the night of 26 March, Russian troops attacked the Dnipro region with kamikaze drones, striking civilian and industrial infrastructure. Kryvyi Rih and the Nikopol district suffered the most.

Large-scale fires broke out in Kryvyi Rih as a result of an enemy attack. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovs’k regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, an administrative building, warehouses, an industrial enterprise and at least six cars were damaged.

“There were no casualties,” Lysak said.

In addition, Nikopol district was shelled – the attacks continued from late evening on 25 March. The district centre and the Marhanets community came under fire. Two apartment buildings and a car were damaged there, as well as one of the enterprises.

Despite the difficult night, the air defence forces proved highly effective, shooting down 12 Russian drones over the region.

Attacks on civilian communities in the Dnipro region once again confirm the targeted tactics of terror against civilians and critical infrastructure.
