The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has announced grants to 20 Ukrainian companies totalling UAH 84.9 million. These funds are intended to create and develop production facilities in the processing industry, which is an important step to support the national economy in the post-war recovery.
Under the programme, companies can count on state co-financing, which covers up to 50% of the project cost. The rest of the costs are covered by the producers themselves. However, for those operating in the de-occupied territories or regions where hostilities took place, as well as for companies specialising in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the printing sector, the state is ready to provide even more support – up to 80% of the project cost.
Andriy Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy, noted that the winners of the grant programme include companies from various industries, including woodworking, metalworking, animal feed, building structures and unmanned aerial vehicles.
This initiative is aimed not only at stimulating production but also at boosting economic activity in the war-affected regions, providing new jobs and opportunities for growth. The Ministry of Economy hopes that the grants will help Ukrainian businesses adapt to the new conditions and regain their competitiveness in the international market.
