The cryptocurrency market has suffered a massive collapse, with the price of bitcoin falling by more than 7% overnight to $76,800, Cryptonaute reports. Smaller cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, XRP, and Solana, lost up to 15% of their value.

Although bitcoin held on for a long time, the market gave up on Sunday evening: Ethereum fell to $1521, hitting its lowest level since October 2023.
At the same time , Asian stock markets also took a hit, with the Hang Seng and Nikkei losing around 10%, continuing the negative trend following last week’s crash.
