Naftogaz Group will soon receive equipment from Norway, which will add 80 MW to the Ukrainian power system. This was announced by Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov on his Facebook page, Time Ukraine Israel reports.
“Thanks to the support of the Norwegian government, we are working on the development of distributed generation at Naftogaz Group enterprises. We are expecting to supply equipment that will add 80 MW of capacity to the Ukrainian power grid,” Chernyshov said. According to him, this generation will provide additional electricity and heat to residents of one of the regions during the heating season.
Chernyshov also expressed his gratitude to the Norwegian partners for their support in the run-up to the winter period, stressing the importance of such assistance in the current circumstances.
