As Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky reported in his telegram channel, trade relations between Israel and Ukraine have shown significant growth, adapting to military realities and logistical challenges. In the first eight months of 2024, trade between the two countries reached $615 million, which has already exceeded the figures for the whole of 2023, when the figure was approximately $600 million.

This high trade turnover reflects the deep economic integration between the countries and the ability of their economies to adapt to challenging conditions. Mutual trade remains balanced, with roughly equal volumes of exports and imports.

Israel exported to Ukraine mainly products of the oil refining and chemical industries, fertilisers and polymers, which are key to the development of the Ukrainian agricultural and manufacturing sectors. At the same time, Ukraine has been increasing its exports to Israel, including grain, food, and vegetable and animal oils, which are important in Israeli imports.

This growth in trade not only demonstrates the elasticity and flexibility of both economies, but also speaks to the strengthening of bilateral relations, which continue to develop despite external challenges.
