The European Commission has transferred another tranche of €3.5 billion to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility programme. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.

According to the Prime Minister, these funds will help to further support the country’s macroeconomic stability.

“This is an important contribution to the financial stability of Ukraine. We thank our partners for their continued support in difficult times. Together we will stand and rebuild everything,” said Shmyhal.

The European Commission also stressed Ukraine’s commitment to implementing reforms on its path to full membership in the European Union. The total amount of financial assistance under the Ukraine Facility has already reached EUR 19.6 billion.

This tranche is part of a long-term support programme to help Ukraine ensure the resilience of its economy, continue reforms and strengthen its integration with the EU.
