Ukrainian Customs has detected violations worth UAH 5.7 billion since the beginning of the year – goods, vehicles and currency seized

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainian customs have recorded 4,095 violations of customs rules totalling UAH 5.7 billion. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service.

In 1,511 cases, the objects of offences worth almost UAH 340 million were temporarily seized. Most of them are:

  • industrial goods – by UAH 192 million
  • vehicles – over UAH 117 million
  • food products – over UAH 28 million
  • currency – UAH 2.2 million

“In 750 cases, the offenders were fined UAH 26 million, of which UAH 24 million has already been transferred to the state budget,” the agency said.

In addition, 2,349 cases worth over UAH 2.8 billion were brought to court. The courts have already ordered the confiscation of goods and imposed fines of UAH 2.1 billion.
