Evening attack on Dnipro: injured, large-scale fires and destroyed buildings

Dnipro, 28 March – On Thursday evening, the Russian army attacked Dnipro using attack drones. The attack resulted in large-scale fires, with damage to residential areas and a restaurant complex. This was reported by the head of the Dnipro regional military administration, Sergey Lysak, and local telegram channels.

“Explosions are heard in Dnipro. Several fires started due to the UAV attack. Preliminary, there is damage in the residential sector. All information is being clarified,” Lysak said in his evening address.

He later said that four wounded were taken to hospital as a result of the strike.

A large-scale fire was reported in a restaurant complex. A high-rise building and several private houses also caught fire. Rescuers and all relevant services are working at the scene.

The authorities are urging residents to stay in safe places, not to ignore air raid warnings and to trust only official sources of information.
