In northeastern Nigeria, the city of Gwoza has been struck by a horrific event that has shocked the world. Suicide bombers launched a series of explosions at a wedding, a funeral, and a hospital, killing at least 18 people. This information comes from Reuters, citing the local emergency management agency.

According to Barkindo Saidu, the director-general of the emergency management agency in Borno State, the victims include children and pregnant women. The explosions caused severe injuries to many people, who were hospitalized with abdominal wounds, skull fractures, and limb injuries. In total, 30 people were injured, and their condition is causing serious concern among medical professionals.

Saidu noted that the attacks were carried out separately, highlighting the calculated and brutal nature of the terrorists. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks, leaving the world waiting for further clarification.

This tragedy once again highlights the vulnerability of people in the face of terrorism and raises serious questions about the safety and protection of civilians in regions exposed to such threats.
