In the early hours of Saturday, July 6, a series of powerful explosions rocked the city of Sumy, resulting in partial power and water outages. Reporters from Suspilne indicate that all facilities of the local water utility were left without power, temporarily halting water supply.

The Ukrainian Air Force had previously warned about a possible attack by Russian drones. Following the explosions, emergency services began efforts to restore infrastructure and ensure the safety of residents.
