The foreign ministers of Israel and Ukraine, Israel Katz and Dmytro Kuleba, held a telephone conversation to discuss the current situation in the Middle East and issues of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, on his Telegram channel.

“A telephone conversation took place between the foreign ministers of Israel and Ukraine,” writes Brodsky. “The main focus was on the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as cooperation between the two countries in countering the Iranian threat.”

During the conversation, it was emphasized that Israel and Ukraine share a common enemy – Iran. Ambassador Brodsky noted: “It is time for Ukraine to recognize the IRGC, Hezbollah, and Hamas as terrorist organizations.” This statement further underscores the importance of coordinated efforts between the countries in combating terrorism.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported on the possible delivery of eight Israeli Patriot air defense systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Commenting on this information, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Ihor Yevlash, emphasized that Ukraine “desperately needs any systems that can help repel Russian air attacks.”

These discussions and comments reflect the ongoing support and cooperation between Ukraine and Israel in various fields, particularly in security and defense.
