On the morning of Saturday, 30 March, Houthi armed groups fired another rocket into Israel. An air raid alert was sounded in the central part of the country, covering a number of densely populated areas.
We were in the zone of potential threat:
– Central Israel,
– a-Sharon,
– Jerusalem,
– Shfela,
– Modiin,
– Samaria.
Among the cities that could be affected:
– Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, Holon, Bat Yam, Rishon LeZion, Petah Tikva, Ramla, Lod, Rehovot, Modi‘in,
– as well as suburbs and towns: Herzliya, Savion, Givat Shmuel, Shoham, Eliad, Beitar Illit, Gush Etzion, Har Hebron, etc.
The Iron Dome missile defence system and additional air defence systems were put on full alert. The authorities called on citizens to strictly follow the instructions of the IDF Logistics Service:
– Immediately go to the protected area after the alarm sounds;
– Stay in the shelter for at least 10 minutes;
– Receive updates only through official sources.

The Israeli Defence Forces press service reported that one ballistic missile was successfully intercepted outside Israeli airspace. Information on possible other launches or casualties is currently being clarified.
This incident was another episode in a series of attacks by Houthi forces, which are acting with the support of Iran and are increasingly threatening Israel’s rear from long distances.
