The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), together with the Israel Security Agency (ISA), conducted a precision strike on the command and control centre of the Hamas terrorist group located in the Al-Ahli hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF, this facility was used by terrorists to plan attacks against civilians and the Israeli military.
Prior to the strike, Israeli forces issued warnings in the area of operation and took measures to minimise damage to civilians and medical infrastructure, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
Israel has stressed that Hamas systematically violates international law by using hospitals and other civilian facilities for terrorist activities, hiding behind civilians.
The IDF said it would continue operations against Hamas terrorists to protect the citizens and security of the State of Israel.
