IDF and US Air Force conduct joint air exercise to practice defence against regional threats

Tel Aviv, – The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced joint exercises between the Israeli Air Force (IAF) and the US Air Force, aimed at strengthening strategic partnership and increasing combat cooperation in the face of growing threats in the region.

As part of the exercise, Israeli F-35i and F-15i fighter jets flew jointly with a US B-52 strategic bomber, the IDF press service reports. During the flight, the crews practiced operational coordination and interaction to improve the effectiveness of joint actions in crisis scenarios.

According to the IDF, such exercises are aimed at strengthening the integration of the two armies, which is an important step in the development of the strategic alliance between Israel and the United States.

“The cooperation between the IDF and the US Central Command (CENTCOM) is the result of a long-standing relationship that continues to strengthen amid security challenges,” the statement said.

The exercises focused on coordinating joint actions during simulated attacks and threats from hostile forces in the region, including the use of advanced technologies to control airspace.

Thanks to such exercises, Israel and the United States are strengthening their readiness to protect common strategic interests and maintain stability in the Middle East.
