Over the past 24 hours, troops of theIDF‘s 36th Division have completed the establishment of the Morag strategic route separating the Rafah and Khan Younis brigades in the Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF press service, over the past week, the Israeli military has killed dozens of terrorists, destroyed underground tunnels and terrorist infrastructure of the Hamas group.
As a result of the operation, Israeli forces completely encircled the city of Rafah, one of the key militant strongholds in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The IDF says it will continue to strengthen its control over the central route in the region and conduct counter-terrorism operations in the area.
