Troops of the 11th Brigade under the command of the 146th Division of the Israeli Defence Forces have successfully completed a series of operations to neutralise terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon. The mission was aimed at eliminating potential threats from Hezbollah in urban and forest areas known for their activity, the IDF press service reports.
In the course of detailed raids and reconnaissance operations, numerous weapons depots located near the UN headquarters were discovered and destroyed, raising concerns about the security of the peacekeeping force. All actions were carried out without violating the ceasefire agreements between Israel and Lebanon.
Among the significant achievements of the operation was the dismantling of a loaded launcher aimed at Israel. A tunnel located in a civilian building was also neutralised, indicating a disguised threat in the region.
Footage and documentation from the scene was published to confirm the effectiveness of the military’s actions, maintaining transparency and public awareness of the current situation at the border.
The IDF continues to take measures to protect its citizens and maintain stability in the region, demonstrating resolve and readiness to act in the face of possible threats.
