7 April, Taipeh (southern Lebanon) – The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) reported the elimination of one of Hezbollah’s key field commanders, Mohammed Adnan Mansour, who was in charge of the terrorist organisation’s artillery units in the Taipeh area.
According to the IDF, Mansour directed numerous artillery attacks from southern Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee throughout the war, posing a constant threat to Israeli citizens.
“The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the civilian population of the State of Israel,” the army said in an official statement.
This is not the first targeted operation by Israel against senior Hezbollah officials in recent weeks. The Israeli army continues to step up its response to attacks from the Lebanese border, emphasising its readiness to act decisively and pointedly against threats of any scale.
