The Israeli Defence Forces announced the elimination of Ahmad Mansour, a militant of the Islamic Jihad rocket unit who took part in a massive attack on Israel on 7 October 2023. According to the IDF, Mansour also organised rocket attacks on Israel during the war.

Operational activities of Israeli forces continue throughout the Gaza Strip. Over the past 72 hours, the Israeli Air Force has struck more than 200 targets, including terrorist cells, rocket and sniper positions, weapons depots and facilities used for terrorist activities.

In the Shabura and Tel As-Sultan areas, IDF units destroyed terrorist infrastructure and discovered a cache of weapons, including grenades, ammunition and other equipment. Another batch of weapons was found in Rafah and the Morag corridor, and Hamas militants were neutralised.

In addition, in northern Gaza, Israeli forces discovered a group of terrorists in a building with underground infrastructure. An air strike was launched against them. The IDF also destroyed several Hamas sniper positions that posed a threat to the military.

In parallel with the actions in the Gaza Strip, Israeli security forces continue operations to combat terror in Judea and Samaria. On Monday night, 20 wanted individuals were detained. On Sunday evening, explosive devices were discovered and defused in Nur Shams in northern Samaria.

Also on Monday night, IDF forces conducted an operation in the Al-Arub area, where they detained six people suspected of attacking Israeli citizens with stones. All detainees were transferred for interrogation.

Israeli security forces have stated that they will continue to take decisive action to neutralise terrorist threats and ensure the safety of the country’s civilian population.
