The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have reported the successful elimination of two Hezbollah terrorists in the Mays al-Jebel border area in southern Lebanon. Both strikes were carried out on Thursday as part of security operations on Israel’s northern border.

According to the army, one of the killed militants was a member of the elite Radwan unit, which is considered to be Hezbollah’s assault wing and plays a key role in planning attacks on Israeli territory.

The second terrorist was also an active member of a terrorist organisation. According to the IDF, he was conducting reconnaissance and gathering intelligence in the border region, which posed a direct threat to Israel’s security.

The Israeli Defence Forces stressed that Hezbollah’s actions in the border area are a violation of sovereignty and international agreements. The IDF will continue to act decisively to neutralise threats and protect civilians in the north of the country.
