In a new turn of events in the Middle East, the IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) has announced a significant success in its fight against Hezbollah. According to the press service, the Israeli military not only discovered but also successfully destroyed the central tunnel of the Radwan Force, one of the most important terrorist bases in Lebanon.

The operation was carried out by soldiers of the 8th Brigade and Yahal units under the command of the 91st Division. Thanks to accurate intelligence, they conducted several targeted ground raids in southern Lebanon. During these operations, four underground terrorist complexes were discovered and destroyed.

In total, Israeli forces discovered more than 50 tunnel mines and destroyed a large amount of underground infrastructure that Hezbollah had hidden in mosques, schools and other civilian buildings. The military also found a large weapons depot containing hundreds of weapons, including AK-47 rifles, grenades, anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles.

IDF engineering units, in cooperation with Yahal and the Northern Command’s engineering units, destroyed all the tunnel passages discovered, which contained over 100 tonnes of explosives. An important aspect of this destruction was the elimination of the underground command centre of the Radwan Force, which stored weapons, living quarters, ammunition, motorcycles, and communications and guidance equipment.

This operation underscores Israel’s determination and ability to effectively combat terrorist threats on its borders and beyond, ensuring the security of its population in a complex environment of regional instability.
