Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has called on citizens to exercise maximum caution amid growing security threats in the country. According to Cursorinfo, the situation remains tense, and the coming days may be particularly dangerous.

According to Katz, all Israeli emergency services are on high alert. He stressed that the active participation of citizens is crucial to ensuring security, urging them to report any suspicious activities or persons.

“The public should be vigilant and not hesitate to report suspicious people,” the minister said.

Tensions rose after an attack on the morning of 3 March in Haifa, when a terrorist attacked passers-by with a knife near a bus stop near the Merkazit HaMifratz station.

The attack killed a 70-year-old man and injured at least four people, including a teenager. According to local media reports, some of the victims sustained stab and gunshot wounds.

Security forces promptly eliminated the attacker on the spot. An investigation is underway to establish the details of the attack and the number of victims.

As reported by Cursorinfo, according to eyewitnesses, the terrorist arrived from the north of the country to the station in Shfaram, from where he took a bus route 167 to Haifa Central Station. Upon arrival, he shouted religious slogans and began attacking people.

The authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant as the situation may remain unstable in the coming days.
