Yesterday in Doha, at the so-called “Fourth Summit”, the Israeli delegation, along with American and Egyptian representatives, actively engaged with Qatari officials to discuss the ongoing negotiations with the Hamas movement. The Israeli army and security forces know how to overcome the risks that may arise."Gallant also added:
"In addition to defeating Hamas, it is appropriate, right and necessary to conclude an agreement on the return of abductees."Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Herzi Halevi, also spoke in favor of signing the agreement, noting:
"The agreement on the return of prisoners is important on a moral level and carries with it the basic values necessary for an exemplary society that wishes to live."Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, continues to delay, sparking a public battle of wills among Israeli leaders. The army and law enforcement agencies are actively promoting the agreement, seeing it as an important step towards strengthening the country’s security and moral foundations.
Israeli officials continue to show firmness and determination in negotiations, seeking to return their citizens home and ensure the country’s long-term security.
