The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press office reported that the Israeli Air Force eliminated a key figure in Hamas’ military wing responsible for weapons production projects, Mohammed Salah. According to the statement, Salah oversaw the development and production of strategic weapons, commanding several groups of Hamas “weapons specialists.” The press office also released a video of the strike that allegedly killed Mohammed Salah.
Meanwhile, the 162nd Armored Division continues its operations in the Rafiah area. The division consists of two infantry brigades, “Nahal” and “Givati,” two armored brigades, and one artillery brigade. During raids in the Rafiah area, soldiers discovered a large cache of weapons and destroyed launchers used by terrorists to attack troops in the Tel Sultan neighborhood.
In the central part of the Gaza Strip, the 99th Reserve Infantry Division remains active. Soldiers spotted militants in the area and eliminated them using a kamikaze drone.
