Israeli Army Conducts Major Anti-Terror Operation in Balata Refugee Camp

As reported by Israelinfo, this morning, a major anti-terror operation was launched by Israeli military forces in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus (Shechem). According to the IDF press service, the operation aims to identify and apprehend armed extremists hiding in the area.

According to an army source, armed individuals opened fire on Israeli soldiers as soon as they entered the camp. In response, the Israeli forces took measures to suppress the fire.

Palestinian sources report seven people were injured during the clashes. The clashes occurred on Al-Quds Street, adjacent to the Balata camp.

Representatives of the Red Crescent confirm that emergency medical teams provided immediate assistance to three people with gunshot wounds and four with shrapnel injuries. All the injured were promptly taken to the nearest hospital for necessary treatment.

The situation remains tense, and the Israeli army continues to control the camp area, taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of its citizens.
