Israeli police successfully intercepted a large shipment of cocaine, the total value of which is estimated at approximately 100 million shekels. A container was opened in the port of Haifa, inside which more than 210 kilograms of drugs were found.

As part of the operation, three suspects, residents of Bat Yam and Rishon LeZion, aged between 30 and 40, were detained. The court decided to continue their detention.

The investigation began with the interception of a relatively small shipment of cocaine, weighing 16 kilograms, hidden among sacks of rice. As a result, three residents of Herzliya and Modiin were detained. In the course of further investigative actions, it was possible to establish the ways and means of drug delivery to Israel.

The police continue to work to identify all members of the criminal network in order to stop further smuggling attempts and deal a significant blow to the drug trade in the country.
