Kyiv, July 12, 2024 — Rav Ariel Markovych, youth leader of JCC BEIT Menachem KYIV, announced today on his Facebook page about an important volunteer initiative to support Okhmatdit Children’s Hospital after the Russian attack on July 8.
“We support each other,” said Rav Markovych. “We continue to help the Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital. Volunteers of our community collected a car with humanitarian aid with everything necessary and handed it all over to the hospital.”
This initiative became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the members of the Jewish community, who promptly responded to the needs of the victims. Among the donated items are medicines, hygiene products, baby diapers and toys.
Jewish Kindergarten “Pearl” also joined the action, donating diapers and toys for the hospital’s young patients to support the children in a difficult time for them.
“We stick together and believe in victory,” concluded Rav Markovych, expressing hope for a better future and community unity in difficult times.
This action is another example of how joint efforts and caring can help overcome the consequences of war and support those who need it most.
