On the night of 31 March, Kharkiv was again at the epicentre of Russian shelling. According to the mayor, Igor Terekhov, and the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, the Kyiv district of the city was hit by six Shahed drones.
During the night, explosions were heard in the city – according to preliminary data, all of them occurred in the Kyiv district.
“Another Shahed attacked the city. All enemy drone strikes occurred in Kyivskyi district. There is a fire at the site of the strikes. All relevant services are involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack,” said Igor Terekhov.
The last, sixth explosion occurred at around 5:55 am. According to the mayor, this strike also hit the Kyiv district, just like the previous ones.
Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that three people were injured in the night attack. Their condition is currently being clarified.
Russia continues its systematic terror against Ukraine’s frontline cities, and Kharkiv is one of the most vulnerable places, which is being hit daily. Utilities and rescue services are already working at the arrival sites.
The city is holding on – against all odds.
