As reported by the Lithuanian military department’s press service, Lithuania continues to actively support Ukraine in its efforts to defend sovereignty and territorial integrity. Lithuanian assistance, which reached the Ukrainian Army on July 11th, includes anti-drone systems, 5.56x45mm caliber ammunition, and folding beds.
In response to Ukraine’s requests, Lithuania has already supplied 155mm ammunition, M577 and M113 armored personnel carriers, anti-drone systems, winter equipment, warm clothing kits, as well as tools for disabling anti-tank mines such as the “Carl Gustaf”, RISE-1 remote detonation systems, generators, dismantled light attack aircraft L-39ZA “Albatros”, and other aid this year.
The total value of Lithuania’s military assistance to Ukraine exceeds 641 million euros, affirming the long-term partnership between the two countries. Over 115 million euros in aid has already been provided this year alone, with Lithuania planning to sustain this support in the future.
These new deliveries underscore Lithuania’s steadfast commitment to supporting Ukraine in its pursuit of peace and security in the region.
