According to the Kherson Regional State Administration (RSA), this morning Kherson region once again came under heavy shelling by (Russian) occupying forces. The village of Komyshany was one of the main targets, resulting in numerous injuries among the civilian population, including children.
Tragedy in Komyshany
As a result of the shelling, a 32-year-old woman sustained severe injuries to her face, torso, arms, and legs. Her children were also injured: a 10-year-old girl suffered blast trauma and a concussion, while a 15-year-old boy sustained abdominal trauma and a leg injury. All three were immediately hospitalized for medical care.
Elderly Also Affected
Among the injured was a 75-year-old woman who suffered blast and head injuries, as well as a concussion. Medical personnel quickly transported her to the hospital.
Attacks on Pryozerne
The shelling did not spare the village of Pryozerne either. A 65-year-old woman sustained blast trauma and a concussion there. Doctors provided her with necessary assistance on site. A 16-year-old boy also suffered from blast trauma and a concussion due to the shelling and sought medical help on his own.
Consequences of the Shelling
During the morning attack, a 56-year-old local resident sustained leg injuries and a concussion. She was immediately hospitalized for necessary medical assistance.

The shelling in the Kherson region continues to cause severe consequences for the civilian population. Local authorities and medical services are working in an enhanced mode, providing assistance to all the injured.
