On the night of 22 April, Russian troops once again attacked the Dnipro region with kamikaze drones. Nikopol and Sinelnykivka districts suffered the most. The shelling damaged residential buildings, an administrative building, power lines and outbuildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, posted this on Telegram.
“The aggressor continued to attack the Nikopol region with kamikaze drones. Nikopol and Marhanets community suffered. An administrative building, 3 private houses, and a power line were damaged,” Lysak wrote.
Synelnykivskyi district is also under attack
In Sinelnykivka district, Mezhivska community came under attack. According to Lysak, the attack set a car on fire and damaged a private house and an outbuilding. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.
Air defence is working effectively
Units of the East Air Command destroyed at least two enemy drones over the region during a night attack.
The head of the UBA urged residents of the Dnipro region not to ignore air raid warnings and to respond promptly to messages from local authorities and the State Emergency Service.
