According to Mignews, at the NATO Review Forum, Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Vice President and Director of Global Business Development, Steven O’Bryan, announced the signing of an agreement to manufacture weapons in Ukraine. This marks a historic step as Northrop Grumman becomes the first American company to undertake such a venture in cooperation with Ukroboronprom.
Under the agreement, the company will provide necessary equipment and tools for producing medium-caliber ammunition and will also assist in training personnel. This initiative aims not only to advance Ukraine’s defense industry but also to bolster the country’s defense capabilities.
“We are ready to collaborate with Ukrainian partners on a long-term basis, contributing to a strong and secure future for Ukraine,” noted Steven O’Bryan.
This move by Northrop Grumman underscores the importance of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA in the defense sector and opens new avenues for technological exchange and joint manufacturing.
