Baltic, European and Canadian leaders arrive in Kyiv on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion

On the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the leaders of the Baltic States, Europe and Canada arrived in the capital of Ukraine. This was announced by Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Mihal on social media platform X.

At the Kyiv railway station, the distinguished guests were met by the Head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiga.

Michal stressed that over the past three years, Ukraine has demonstrated true resilience to the world, and that victory in the war requires active action by its allies. He called for accelerated support for Kyiv.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda reaffirmed Vilnius’ unwavering support for Ukraine and stressed that Ukrainians had withstood all the difficulties.

President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs recalled that three years ago, when the invasion began, he was in Kyiv as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Now he has returned as head of state to express solidarity and discuss further steps.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez also arrived in Kyiv, stating that his country’s support for Ukraine was unwavering.

Earlier, the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in the capital and confirmed that Europe would remain with Ukraine as long as necessary.
