Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga arrived in South Africa for a series of important meetings in Johannesburg and Pretoria on 27-28 October, Time Ukraine Israel reports, citing the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
During her visit, Sibiga will meet with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, the Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, representatives of think tanks, the University of Pretoria faculty, as well as leaders of South African business associations and the Ukrainian community.
The main topic of the talks will be the development of political dialogue between Ukraine and South Africa, as well as cooperation in the international context, including South Africa’s preparations for the G20 presidency in 2025. Ukraine also hopes for support for the Peace Formula as the only way to a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace in the context of the war with Russia.
