Attack on Houthi targets: Israeli Prime Minister’s reaction

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commented on the events in Yemen, where Houthi targets were struck overnight. The statements were made during a statement in Tel Aviv, as reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing Israel’s Channel 7.

Israel as a global player in the fight against global terrorism

According to Netanyahu, the strike was a response to the Houthis’ constant attacks on civilian targets in Israel. In particular, in his speech, he mentioned the attack on a school in Ramat Gan.

“They are not only attacking us, they are attacking the whole world,” the Prime Minister said, adding that it is a threat to international trade routes and shipping.

Houthis as part of the Iranian “axis of evil”

Netanyahu called the Houthis “the last tentacle of the Iranian axis of evil”, which is still active.

“After Hamas, Hizbullah and the Assad regime, the Houthis are the last ones to stand with the Threat,” he added. This operation showed that attempts to harm Israel are very costly.

International support

Netanyahu emphasised the support of the United States and other countries. “We are acting for the benefit of the international community,” he stressed, adding that this is very well understood in America.
